Blessings of Grace and Peace to you today from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ,

Have you ever thought about sharing these letters with your family and friends?
Recently, we had the funeral of Jennifer Peterson who will always be remembered as an incredible gift to the Body of Christ. Her Mother Billie was serving as our receptionist and was not able to type. So, she would take our radio messages home and when Jennifer would come from work, Billie would have her type the messages for me. Jennifer gave her heart to Christ as a result of reading and typing these messages. When I write these weekly letters it is for a personal point of contact with you but I actually write them with body of Christ in mind. It is my desire to share with you timely messages in regard to days in which we live.

What is on my heart at this time is how contemporary The Book of Revelation has become. You could take your Bible and read this letter along with Chapter 5, and it may stimulate your faith and readiness for the Coming of the Lord. We have followed John’s Vision from the Throne where the worship is fit for a King. He is still on His Throne. In verse one and in His right hand he holds a Book. The fact that it is in His right hand symbolizes that whatever is in The Book is controlled by the Sovereign power of God. Notice with me that the writing in The Book is on both sides of the paper implying that The Book is full and complete. Why is The Book sealed? Is it because its contents are secret and there is no one who can open The Sealed Book of history? An Angel is heard voice crying out in a loud voice, “Who is worthy to break the sealed book and open the scrolls.” John wept because no one worthy could be found who could break the seals to see what was inside it. Then one of the elders we met in chapter 4 speaks up and says, “Do not weep! See the Lion of the Tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has triumphed; He is able to open the scroll and its seven seals”. John then spoke of, “the Lamb looking as though He had been slain, STANDING IN THE CENTER OF THE THRONE.” Psalms 103:19 teaches us a monumental truth, “The Lord has prepared His throne in heaven.” “It is a Throne of Glory”, according to Matthew 29:28 and the Son of Man sits on it. The Book that contains the record of history and it explains the past and expounds the future and it is in God’s hands.

John, speaking of this vision, is seen through his tears. We know about The Book of Daniel chapter 12, where Daniel has a vision, which says “Seal The Book, even to the time of the end, for many shall run to and fro and knowledge shall be increased.” But now we have a different sign, the one who has the key is coming. “THE ‘LAMB’ HAS PREVAILED.” The word John uses here is special title and it is only used in the Book of Revelations. John uses the term twenty nine times, but only one time outside the book of Revelations is it found. You will remember in John 21:16 it says “Feed my lambs.” The truth is the Lord is not only the one worthy to open the seals, He is the Key who unlocks the entire Word of God; after all it is His Story.

Revelation 5 speaks of where our prayers are held. It is also speaks about a new song being sung:

“You are Worthy to take the scroll,
And open its seals,
Because you were slain,
And with your blood you
Purchased for God
People from every tribe and language
And people and nation
You have made them to be a kingdom
And priest to serve our God,
And they will reign on the earth.

Then John looked and heard the voice of many angels, numbering thousands upon thousands, they encircled the Throne and the living creatures and the elders. In a loud voice they were saying:

Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain,
To receive power and wealth
And wisdom and strength and glory and honor and glory and praise.

Then John heard all of heaven and on earth and under earth saying:

To Him who sits on the Throne
And unto the Lamb,
Be honor and glory and power;
Forever and forever.”

I believe we are fast moving toward the day when the key unlocks the books. We have been witnesses in 2021 of politics gone badly. It reminds us of what others in past centuries have had to say about political corruption. It is a matter of record that politicians and philosophers cannot foretell the future and it is a rare man or woman that can learn from the past. People are talking today about things like World War III and the end of the World. However, while we watch empires collide we can rejoice knowing the devil is defeated and God is on The Throne.
