Look at John 10:10 in your Bible, “I am come that they might have life and that they might have life more abundantly.”
Why did Jesus come? He came to do more only to save us, He came to do far more. He came to give us the GOD KIND OF LIFE, the life God know to live. In the Old Testament God made it possible for the Israelites to have a national celebration. Let me ask you a question regarding this, did they have a choice to celebrate or not? Not on your life they had no choice it was a commandment, for them to acknowledge these celebrations.
It is fake news to believe the doctrines of moderation. I will give you a leg up where they are found in the Bible. Joel 2:23/24 and Philippians 4:4-6. Is there a place where his abundance runs out? In each of these texts, it has to do with what is between sorrow and joy.
What part of the DEATH, BURIAL AND RESURRECTION was not essential, from God’s View Point? That day was a day of sacrifice. TODAY WE CELEBRATE HIS SACRIFICE.
