HAVE YOU LOST THE CRY?

As I have read the Bible it is hard to miss that there were often times when men and women cried out to God for help. They cried out to God for protection, for provision, and even for peace. Women cried out to God when they were barren and God heard their heart cry. In the case of Hannah, I love to say, “God got what He wanted and Hannah got what she wanted.” How will what you are crying out for be of benefit to God and His purpose on earth. Samuel, Hannah’s answered prayer, was a prophetic gift to the nation of Israel.

Think about it for a moment. Do you think it could be a time like this again, where we begin to cry out to God for those things that would be a benefit to God and His sovereign purposes? Or have we lost our cry? We are challenged to call on God, but we know that the Bible plainly says, “We have not because we ask not or we ask to receive to consume it up on our own lust.” In other words, our asking is selfish. God is faithful to His Word and He is ready and willing to answer our cry.

What are you crying out to God for today? My personal heart cry is, “Oh, God rend the heavens and come down.” Revival is the answer of heaven to a people who cry out to Him day and night and this is what our nation needs. So we will give God no peace until He comes and rains righteousness upon us.

We believe in you!
