WHAT IS THE FUSS ALL ABOUT?

On Tuesday, I asked a clerk in a local store if she was ready for Christmas. She said, ”I wish it was over. I haven’t bought a present yet, and am not looking forward to it.” All this while she was wrapping a gift I had just purchased. Sometimes, we just need a little clarity. Let me share my annual circumstance.

Three family birth dates are celebrated in December in our family. There is Cameron, who first said “Hello” to the world on the 13th; Crew, who stole my birth date on the 30th, or there would be 4 birth dates celebrated in December; and then there is Pyper, who keeps us all reminded that her birthday was on the 12th.

So you can see that with the high demand on my pocketbook, it would be easy for me to lose my presence of mind. However, there is one other birthday we celebrate that helps me keep my wits. It, of course, is the most important one of all; and that is the celebrated birth of Christ who is Heaven’s promised gift to mankind; but someone may need to help you open it. Oh! You say, "Would you be so kind to help me?"

IT WOULD BE MY PRIVILEGE TO OPEN THIS GIFT FOR YOU

I want to do a reality check and see if we are all on the same page when it comes to what we celebrate during the most wonderful time of the year, year after year after year. First of all, THE SON OF GOD WAS MADE FLESH, something to consider in that “In the beginning was the Word”. God and His Word were together in the beginning. So it was that God and the Word were in the beginning together when the word was spoken, “LET US MAKE MAN”. Secondly, HE IS THE LIVING WORD, i.e., “By Him,” Colossians 1:16,17. He has personality. He is the Creator, “All things made by Him and for Him,” John 1:3. He is the sustainer of all life, “In Him was life”, John 1:4. He is the life and source of all life, John 1:4 & John 11:45. Not only is He the source of light, He is the Light, Revelations 21:23.

Now check this out. He is the Eternal Word, The Living Word, He is the Revealed Word, made in the flesh, a little lower than the angels, made in the likeness of man, made in the likeness of sinful flesh. Now get this, He was in the glory of the Father before the world was, and He is the Revealed, Incarnate Word. The Bible is a Revelation of Jesus Christ in Revelations 1:1, and He is the Revelation of the Father, for He said, “He that has seen me has seen the Father.”

I BELIEVE IN JESUS, I BELIEVE IN THE VIRGIN BIRTH, I BELIEVE, I BELIEVE, I BELIEVE.

HAVE A BLESSED CHRISTMAS SEASON
