PROVIDENTIAL PATHWAYS

PROVIDENTIAL PATHWAYS

KINGDOM CONNECTION’S & PROVIDENTIAL PATHWAYS

Psalms 46:10, is a simply stated staple in my life of faith; “BE STILL AND KNOW THAT I AM GOD.” As I have walked with God through the year, I have been reminded by that verse many times to put things in neutral. It is astonishing how often people find themselves seemingly out of control. Allow me to remind you in this busy season when life is moving at break neck speed, to consider this admonishment as seen through other translators eyes.

“Be still, be calm, see, and understand I am the True God.”

He says, “Stop your striving and recognize that I am God.”

Let go of your concerns! Then you will know that I am Elohim.

Attention, all! See the marvels of God! He plants flowers and trees all over the earth, Bans war from pole to pole, breaks all the weapons across his knee. “Step out of the traffic! Take a long, loving look at me, your High God, above politics, above everything.”

Let go of your concerns! Then you will know that I am God. I rule the nations. I rule the earth.

“Only I can tell you the future before it happens. Everything I plan will come to pass.”

I BELIEVE THAT EVERY DIVINE CONNECTION WE MAKE IN LIFE LEADS TO THE BUILDING OF THE KINGDOM OF GOD.

I read once about a businessman who invited a foreign guest into his home for a meal. The house was filled with 3 school age children and another child in preschool. A wonderful meal was prepared and the guest for the evening was appreciative for the invitation. Having traveled as much as I have I can tell you a real home cooked meal is hard to beat even if you are able to eat in a few fine restaurants. Later the couple had friends who were sent to a European country as missionaries. When they arrived, their work was brought to a standstill by government regulations. The gentleman who had been a guest in the young couple’s house, now many years ago, heard about the situation and that they the missionaries were there friends. He had become a government official and was able use his influence to have the restrictions removed on their behalf. This paved the way for a thriving church to be built in his country and many were won to Christ.

Just think, an extra plate at a supper table was used by God to open a door years later. This is what I have been talking a great deal about lately, KINGDOM CONNECTIONS.

Let us recognize the value of what it means when the Bible says, TWO ARE BETTER THAN ONE, AND THEY HAVE A GOOD REWARD FOR THEIR LABOR.

I read this the other day and realized once how important it is not to go it alone.

“It’s better to have a partner than go it alone.
Share the work,
Share the wealth.
And if one falls down, the other helps,
But if there’s no one to help, tough!”
Proverbs 4. THE MESSAGE
