The Spirit Of War

The Spirit Of War

Dearest Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

I write this letter with a heavy heart for the world, with death tolls rising in the Ukraine and sabre rattling between other nations taking place, we can honestly say; “My soul finds rest in God Alone”. Realizing that there are strong believers in harm’s way, I cannot get John 3:16 off my mind. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believes in Him would not perish but have ever lasting life. God sent not His son into the world to condemn the world but that the world through Him might be saved.”

The spirit of war is the spirit of condemnation and is a death sentence on innocent people that being the case the aggressor is always in the wrong. I have been posting everything that I can about what is going on in the Ukraine. The reason for me doing this is I am connected to people others are not who have had long standing ministries in that part of the world. I asked you to join me on social media getting the stories out that the networks may not be broadcasting. I think it is necessary for us to inform praying people as much as we can about the needs of Christians as well as their families that have remained behind in the war zone.

I spoke with Evangelist Mike Denigan this week who has an ongoing ministry in the Ukraine and is in contact with church leaders in the war-torn areas. His friends are in contact with him and are giving him updates, often in tears as they speak to him on the inter net while the areas they where they live are being rattled by rocket fire. In the subways there are reports of people are giving their lives to Christ. I cannot get this off my mind and heart for the spirit of a true intercessor is to place one’s self in the place of another.

The Leading Rabbi in the Ukraine has asked Christians to recite Psalms 31 out loud during the conflict, here is a portion that we can join with them in as we agree together for God to intervene:

Psalms 31:19-24

19 Oh, how great is Your goodness, which You have laid up for those who fear, revere, and worship You, goodness which You have wrought for those who trust and take refuge in You before the sons of men!
20 In the secret place of Your presence You hide them from the plots of men; You keep them secretly in Your pavilion from the strife of tongues.
21 Blessed be the Lord! For He has shown me His marvelous loving favor when I was beset as in a besieged city.
22 As for me, I said in my haste and alarm, I am cut off from before Your eyes. But You heard the voice of my supplications when I cried to You for aid.
23 O love the Lord, all you His saints! The Lord preserves the faithful, and plentifully pays back him who deals haughtily.
24 Be strong and let your heart take courage, all you who wait for and hope for and expect the Lord!

Could this be the unfolding of end time prophecy?
Could this be the tick of the clock toward the fulfillment of God’s Word?
Could this be the beginning of the end?
Could this be the ordinary day before our Dear Lord comes back?
Could this be the time when we will look back and say, “I wish we had all been ready?”
Could this be an hour when the end time Trumpeter is warming up his lips?

On another note:
Mike Denigan has traveled to be with Nick and Mulenga Chanda in North London for a week of ministry. Please keep all our traveling ministries and associated ministries in your prayers.

Thank you for joining us in agreement for the turning of the tides of war. You are also welcome to join us at 12:00 at noon, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday as we make our Appeal to Heaven in The Prayer Room, all are welcome to attend. (It has literally become a WAR ROOM.)

Your faithfulness in prayer and support of us is an instrument of grace to keep us keeping on. Thank you for all you do to help us extend the Kingdom.

We Love you,
Cleddie and GayNell
