This Little Light of Mine

This Little Light of Mine

What can the righteous accomplish when truth’s pillars are destroyed and law and order collapse? Yet the Eternal One is never shaken — he is still found in his temple of holiness, reigning as Lord and King over all. He is closely watching everything that happens. And, with a glance, his eyes examine every heart. For his heavenly rule will prevail over all. He will test both the righteous and the wicked, exposing each heart..” Psalms 11:3-5

It is with faith we face the future. A palm reader took the hands of people sitting around a pool at a posh resort on the Mediterranean and begin to tell people their futures. He came to the last man and wanted to tell him his future. The man responded, "There is no need to attempt to read my palm. My future cannot be read in my hand, My future is in the nail-scarred hand of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ."

This opened a door for him to speak about the Love of God and God's plan of redemption for all men. As you can imagine he had a stunned audience that beautiful evening on the shores of the Mediterranean.

Our mission today is to buy up every opportunity to be salt and light to others. When we fail to take advantage of every opportunity afforded us we have lost our savor. Stronger Savor can be found when we are walking daily with the Savior. With a glance, He can examine every heart and that is what it is all about. I love this translation,
"THE ETERNAL ONE IS NEVER SHAKEN"

This week, Pfizer Pharmaceuticals has discovered a cure for the Corona Virus, we have a cure for the perplexity of this hour. Men's hearts are failing them for fear and that, of course, is the one who holds our future in his nailed scarred hand. That is what I call LIGHT. Light in a world of those blinded by the god of this world.
