What is the Book of Life all about, anyway?

What is the Book of Life all about, anyway?

In this blessed book, there is record of all the names of those who have renounced their own righteousness and acknowledged themselves as justly condemned and deserving of Hell. This is not a popular subject in the hour we live but it is true no matter if we believe in or not. It is a hard drive retaining the story of those who have fled for refuge in the promise of the scriptures. They who have believed in Jesus have the assurance of eternal life when their name is found in this book.

Have you believed in Jesus who met every demand of the law with its tenfold lash? Have you settled the question by trusting in Him who died on the cross for our sin and the sin of the whole world?

Have you decided to follow Christ who said, “Because I live, you shall live also?” Have you believed in Him and followed Him in Water Baptism and been saved?” It is them and only them who have, “confessed in their mouth and believed in their heart that Jesus Christ is Lord.” Let me call out the unbeliever at this point, Mr. Sinner, No matter what you possess, if you have made a clear confession of your faith in Christ, your name will not be found in the Lambs Book of Life.

What is your end game? I have seen great football teams lose in the two-minute drill that they had in place just in case they were behind in the final minutes of the game. The one of the saddest verses in the entire Bible is, “THE SUMMER IS PAST THE HARVEST IS ENDED, AND WE ARE NOT SAVED.” Can you imagine for a moment what it will be like when the destinies of the races will be revealed?

It will be a day when the Shepherd separated the sheep and the goats. It will be a day as when the farmer separates the tares and the wheat. It will be a day when the saints and the sinners will be parted right and left. It will be a day when the intoxicating cup of sin will no longer have any power to dumb the masses. It will be a day when the hearts of men and women, husbands and wives, boys and girls will be revealed for what they really are.

Are you prepared to meet God as an impartial Judge? Have you read the Book and found this scripture piercing your soul? “ Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and you perish from the way when His wrath is kindled but for a little.” Today if you will hear his voice, harden not your hearts.”

TOMORROW MAY BE TOO LATE.
ARE YOU LOOKING FOR A WELL DONE OR GO AWAY?
IS YOUR NAME WRITTEN DOWN IN THE LAMB’S BOOK OF LIFE?
GOD’S FAVORITE WORD IS COME IN THE NEW TESTAMENT AND HE’S SPEAKING TO ALL OF US TODAY.

I BELIEVE IN YOU,

Cleddie Keith
