GOD IS ON THE THRONE

GOD IS ON THE THRONE

Blessings of Grace and Peace to you today from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ,

Have you ever thought about sharing these letters with your family and friends?
Recently, we had the funeral of Jennifer Peterson who will always be remembered as an incredible gift to the Body of Christ. Her Mother Billie was serving as our receptionist and was not able to type. So, she would take our radio messages home and when Jennifer would come from work, Billie would have her type the messages for me. Jennifer gave her heart to Christ as a result of reading and typing these messages. When I write these weekly letters it is for a personal point of contact with you but I actually write them with body of Christ in mind. It is my desire to share with you timely messages in regard to days in which we live.

Say That Again

Say That Again

Our friend Norman Cox has recently written a book and I love his title, SAY THAT AGAIN, his sub-title is Wisdom In Today’s World and when you read the chapters you will see it is appropriately named. Chapter 36 speaks to what is our theme of our Wednesday Night Faith Clinic teaching with Coach Jerry Miles and Mike Denigan, when spoke of the importance the personal discipline of Bible Reading. To have a healthy relationship with someone it is important not to neglect communication with one another. You hang on every word, so to speak and want to hear their voice. Norman has chosen appropriately this theme for his compilation of timely subjects.

Sin Always Leaves A Scar

Sin Always Leaves A Scar

Greetings to all our Heritage Church Family and those with shared passion for souls and revival.

Our dear friend, who was a great influence on many lives here at Heritage, was Harvey Payne. He was an advocate for righteousness and the Baptism of Fire. He believed that this was an often overlooked necessity would be essential in the last days. I remember Brother Payne as we affectionately called him, teaching us: “SIN ALWAYS LEAVES A SCAR.”

One For You, One For Me

One For You, One For Me

On the outskirts of a small town, there was a big, old pecan tree just inside the cemetery fence. One day, two boys filled up a bucketful of nuts and sat down by the tree, out of sight, and began dividing the nuts. "One for you, one for me, one for you, one for me," said one boy. Several dropped and rolled down toward
the fence.

WHAT CAN BE WORSE THAN A STONE IN YOUR SHOE?

WHAT CAN BE WORSE THAN A STONE IN YOUR SHOE?

Greetings to all those who worship with us as a part of the Body of Christ we call Heritage Fellowship.

I ask myself a question this morning:

WHAT CAN BE WORSE THAN A STONE IN YOUR SHOE?

What Should I Think About This?

What Should I Think About This?

This is crazy; or maybe not. C.S. Lewis wrote these words in his book “The Screwtape Letters” nearly 80 years ago. Amazing how this could have been written today:

Be Grateful

Be Grateful

One day, a very wealthy man was walking on the road. Along the way, he saw a beggar on the sidewalk. The rich man looks kindly on
the beggar & asked, “How did you become a beggar?”

God Will Take Care Of You

God Will Take Care Of You

I have spoken with several people who have shared with me their disappointments and fears dur-ing the past few months. I can understand their fear and dismay. Job gives us his spin on Leviathan in the book of Job chapter 41; in verse 22, he allows us to join with him for a look see.
