Para-Negative

Para-Negative

I have never heard this word and I am not even sure that is one but I think it should be. Contemplating the last few months and the cloud of doubt hanging over the election. This word ran through my mind, Para-negative. In other words, we have found ourselves having to deal with outcomes of the election that would apparently become an open door to Biblical Eschatology as we have never seen up until this point in time. This dynamic has produced a quandary of negative emotions in the hearts of mankind.

Appreciation Day

Appreciation Day

Appreciation can find its way into the crevices of a wound, a misunderstanding, or the open heart of someone so loved it only serves to strengthen the bond of shared interest. Wouldn’t it be wonderful to have a NATIONAL APPRECIATION DAY where people could, out of gratitude, share with others how much they are cared for and appreciated? I would vote for a day like that, and I think you would also.

Go Figure

Go Figure

Philippians Chapter 3:20, “But we are different because our citizenship is in heaven. And from there we eagerly await [the coming of] the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ; who, by exerting that power which enables Him even to subject everything to Himself, will [not only] transform [but completely refashion] our earthly bodies so that they will be like His glorious resurrected body.”

A Breath Of Fresh Air

A Breath Of Fresh Air

I have spoken with friends in ministry around the world during the past 6 months who are having, to deal with 2020 issues. We are all facing the same dilemma, which is, how do we keep the church ‘In Touch’, with the times and seasons and at the same time stay in touch with one another, locally and globally. The Church is in need of a breath of fresh air in a world that is becoming more and more stagnant and polluted in it’s thinking. For the Church to be a breath of fresh air to the cities and the nations, the Church must have a breath of fresh air. In major cities, the weather reporters will often give a report on the air quality index. Often it will be suggested that those with breathing issues stay inside, not to be exposed to dangerously high pollution or pollen counts.

What is the Book of Life all about, anyway?

What is the Book of Life all about, anyway?

In this blessed book, there is record of all the names of those who have renounced their own righteousness and acknowledged themselves as justly condemned and deserving of Hell. This is not a popular subject in the hour we live but it is true no matter if we believe in or not. It is a hard drive retaining the story of those who have fled for refuge in the promise of the scriptures. They who have believed in Jesus have the assurance of eternal life when their name is found in this book.

A Visit To A Graveyard

A Visit To A Graveyard

This is a funny message from a gravestone.

Remember me as you pass by; As you are now so once was I. As I am now, so you must be. Therefore, prepare to follow me. Underneath these lines someone wrote in blue paint: To follow you I’m not content Unless I knew which way you went.

Drum Roll Of Promise

Drum Roll Of Promise

How often do you have a verse do a drum roll in your head! This happens to me quite often and it is as though The Word is knocking on the door of my mind. This week has been one of those weeks and the scripture is a profound revelation for these who deal with condemnation in regards to their past you will find this in, Isaiah 58:8 “AND THE LORD WILL BE YOUR REAR GUARD”

They Came & Were Blessed

They Came & Were Blessed

If you're having sex before marriage, go to church anyway. If you are a drug addict trying to beat addiction, go to church anyway. If you were out drunk all night the night before, go to church anyway. If you aren't sure what gender you prefer, go to church anyway. If you can't quit that disgusting habit, go to church anyway.
