One of the most awkward things I have ever had to do is going into a voting booth and vote. In times past you had to mark the boxes of each candidate. You had to really be attentive to the ballot or you could vote for the wrong candidate. Today, you can vote a straight ticket. I would not just vote blue or red if my life convictions did not coincide with their think tank's agenda. It is a question today of right and wrong. Being God’s child, you have been in His training.
Greetings to all our Heritage Family and friends,

I had you on my mind this morning and whispered a prayer for you as the sun came up over the Tri-State. In those quiet moments of the morning a song began to play over and over in my mind and heart. “I’m a child of the king,” and then it expanded to, “We are the child of The King.” Do you remember or have you ever heard, the words of this song?
This is a military term, and in every generation, it is relevant to the given hour. You may have seen the photograph of an empty church building that read, ”They are not missing, they are simply deployed.” A few years ago I was in California when a phone call was made to a man in the congregation. He had just finished his last assignment and was retiring from the branch of service he was in.
