Choice Christmas Greetings to You and Yours,
I have packed my soul with Christmas Truth because I have my own Magnificat. “My soul magnifies the Lord.” Matthew 1:46-55
Do you have your own Magnificat? What has God done for you? In Psalms 136, David gives us his own personal version of what God has done for him. Let's borrow from David and compile our own magnificat:
YOUR LOVE NEVER QUITS.
I am always on His mind.
I was on His mind, when He was crucified on Calvary.
I am on His mind and in His thoughts right at this moment.
I say it like this, “the devil will never make God change his mind about you.”
On my behalf, He has done marvelous things.
I am thankful He is a miracle working God.
HIS MERCY ENDURES FOR EVER
The creator, who formed the universe, laid out the earths foundation, filled the sky with light by day and night. The sun watches over the daytime and the moon and stars are the guardians of the night.
He makes our Enemies His enemies, just like He did when Israel was being oppressed by Egypt.
He has been there for me when I was down, rescued me when I was down, and taken care of me in a time of need.
HIS MERCY ENDURES FOREVER
Go ahead and put this in your Christmas stocking and join me in celebrating His love for you and I — in the greatest story ever told. These are true stocking stuffers:
GOD HAS NO FAVORITES.
GOD’S PROMISES ARE UNLIMITED.
GOD’S WORD IS TRUE. “WHATSOEVER THINGS YOU ASK IN HIS NAME BELIEVE THAT
YOU RECEIVE IT AND YOU SHALL HAVE IT.
IN GOD, “NO SITUATION JUSTIFIES DESPAIR.”
