SACRIFICE TO THE WORK OF GOD AT HERITAGE.
As I reflect on 2014, I am amazed at the wonderful things that God has done in our midst; and by the lives that have been blessed and encouraged by the different ministries of Heritage. None of this would have been possible without your gift of love and appreciation for the goodness of God in all our lives. As your pastor, I am humbled by the way that you respond to the presentation of every need that arises. It is a blessing to know that God has trusted us with such an amazing family of believers and friends. YOU + YOUR GIVING = CHANGED LIVES worldwide, from Africa to India, across Great Britain to Israel, from Canada to the Caribbean, throughout the nation, and locally through the Hope Over Heroin outreaches you have made a difference through your involvement and prayer. Sometimes we forget how important our time and gifts mean; but to those who have been helped by our love, God Himself says He does not forget it.
At our recent Heritage Academy Christmas presentation, I was surprised at the turn out of parents, grandparents, and family who came to celebrate the evening with us. It was the best turn out we have had in years. I want to say how thankful I am to all our teachers and school staff for making such amazing sacrifices to invest in the lives of our students. We could not do what we do without you.
I am at a loss for words today as I think of how gracious you have been to us over the years. It has been like a good marriage! In sickness and health, in our deepest sorrows, and our greatest joys, you have been there for GayNell and I, as well as Vernel & Donna, Sean & Jayna, Howard & Kandi, Rene & Barb, Andrew & Lauren, Chris, Angie & Kyle, and all the staff God has blessed us with.
We are just soooooooo happy and privileged to have you as a part of our lives. I am looking forward to 2015 with great anticipation and expectancy, knowing that surely goodness and mercy follow us all the days of our lives.
