Resurrection Greetings to all the Heritage Family of Believers and Friends,

YES! HE IS RISEN

I have read this story again and again through the years. What is interesting is the reaction of Jesus first line of ministries reaction to the expensive gift that was poured upon Him. “And there were some that had indignation within themselves, and [they] said, why was this waste of the ointment made?” Mark 14:4

On our recent trip to North Dakota, we discovered another attempt to change the narrative of American History. To change the narrative they of course have to change the names as they did Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego. Read it for yourself:

HAVE YOU EVER STOPPED TO ASK WHAT DOES THE WORD ABUNDANCE MEAN?
It is a really important question and it comes from the word: CARIZOS. It means exceeding number, measure, rank, and need. It means over and above, more than necessary, super added. The literal translation is superabundance. These are the words of Dr. Strong and Dr. Thayer. Strong goes on to add that it means SUPERABUNDANT IN QUANITY AS WELL AS SUPERIOR IN QUALITY AND BY THESE TERMS IT MEANS EXCESSIVE. JOHN 10:10, tells us that Jesus came to give us this kind of life.

One day the wife of a man from the guild of prophets called out to Elisha, “Your servant my husband is dead. You well know what a good man he was, devoted to God. And now the man to whom he was in debt is on his way to collect by taking my two children as slaves.”

“I greet you with the great words, grace and peace! We know the meaning of those words because Jesus Christ rescued us from this evil world we are in by offering himself as a sacrifice for our sins. God’s plan is that we all experience that rescue. Glory to God forever! Oh, yes!” I don’t think the Apostle Paul would mind me using this greeting to the Church of Galatia, copied from the Amplified Bible, in our weekly letter to you. I have noticed that on several occasions in the scripture that there are stories and encouragements to those who have been defeated or discouraged.
